We bought the 10.000 litres tank for water storage at the big plot.
The first part of the rain season was very dry so we do not want to rely on rain water for irrigation as the rainfall patterns are now erratic.
It is now raining but we lost most of our crops during the first part of the season. We had to start planting again and we also trying to design our land to harvest more water on land.
We are going to construct another 20.000 litres tank and raise funds for the irrigation equipment.
We are now busy doing land preparation and designing for another 50m × 50m plot at the big plot.
We will be also planting the banana suckers (offshoots of banana plant for reproduction, producing fruits in 6–8 months) that we received last week.
