Dear Friends,
with the rainy season started, we had been busy planting maize and soya beans, maize and peas. We now also have a seedbed of tomatoes and have planted herbs as companion plants.
We are using organic fertilisers, but would like to fundraise for more as we still need to plant more maize so we now need organic fertilizer which is a bit expensive for us.
For a small plot we can use both compost and manure but for large tracts of land we have to use other methods. We have plans to purchase comfrey and sunhemp seeds to grow our organic fertiliser in the future.
